Prayer Shawl Ministry Links Trinity UMC

Prayer Shawl MinistryThe Prayer Shawl Ministry at Trinity UMC is a unique God directed ministry of creating crocheted and knitted shawls - praying prayers into them as they are created. Each prayer shawl is blessed by our congregation before giving or sending them to the recipient. The purpose of prayer shawls is to let the recipients know that God loves them and that there is a church family lifting them up in prayer. Our prayer shawl ministry includes stoles, shawls, and lap blankets for people of all ages. They are given to encourage those going through difficult times or to celebrate significant life events, like the birth of a child. Everyone is welcome to particpate in this ministry. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, 10:00 - 11:30 AM.
For more information about the prayer shawl ministry, call the church office or e-mail Kathy Norrod, coordinator of the group. ![]() . |
